Master password
The first time — “Create a master password”: at least 10 characters, better a phrase of several words. The same password opens “Lab tests” and “Body” in “Health”.
Recovery key
Right after the vault is created, the app shows a recovery key — “Copy” or “Printable page / PDF”. Keep it away from the phone: if you forget the master password, only this key opens the vault. A new key — Settings → “Vault” → “Recovery key” (the old one stops working).
Open and lock
The vault locks itself after 1, 5, 15 or 30 minutes without activity — Settings → “Vault” → “Auto-lock”. The timer in the header — tap it to lock right away.
Face ID / fingerprint
The gear in the vault → “Face ID / fingerprint on this device” → “Turn on”. It’s turned on on each device separately. In the same place — “Face ID / fingerprint keys”: which device, when it was made, when it was used; a key you don’t need can be deleted. The master password stays.
Passwords
“New password…”: a title, login, password, site, note. “Generate” — a new random password (length, symbols). In the list — copy the login and password with one tap; a copied password is wiped from the clipboard after 30 seconds. At the top — search.
Documents
“New document…”: the kind (document, card, other), title, number, “Issued”, “Valid until”, scans — photos or PDF up to 10 MB, encrypted. “Remind to renew” — a month or 3 months before the end: a “Renew: …” card appears in the vault. There’s no notification: the server can’t see what’s in the vault, so the reminder shows only inside it.
Wi-Fi
“New Wi-Fi network…”: the network, password, security, hidden network. Open a network — a QR code: a guest points the phone’s camera at it and connects without typing the password.
Forgot the master password
On the “The vault is locked” screen → “Forgot the password? Recovery key” → enter the key and a new master password. Without the password and without the key nobody can open the vault, us included: that’s how encryption works.
Change the master password
Settings → “Vault” → “Change the master password”: the current one and a new one. The data stays in place.
